A fire broke out in the Pansal Thanna mountain at around 1 pm in Matale yesterday (Mar 31).
Army personnel attached to the Ukuwela Army Camp along with air force assisted the fire service of the Matale Municipal Council to douse the fire by deploying helicopters.
The cause for the fire has not been discovered as of yet. Matale police are investigating further into the incident.
