Five suspects including organised criminal 'Kudu Ruwan' and a Pakistani couple have been arrested during a raid which was carried out in Borella yesterday (Feb 28).
It is reported that the the son of 'Kudu Ruwan' was also amongst the suspects who were arrested by Special Task Force (STF) personnel during the raid.
STF personnel had also seized cocaine and a few weapons including a rifle, two pistols, and two swords were seized from the possession of the suspects.
Meanwhile, two luxury motor vehicles, a jeep, a 1000 cc motorcycle, and two currency counters were also nabbed along with Rs 200,000 from the suspects.
The arrest was carried out at a four-storeyed building.
