At least four persons were killed in an accident involving a train and a lorry in Angulana yesterday (5) evening, the Police said.
The victims were travelling on the footboard of the train from Maradana to Kalutara, when it had collided with a lorry parked close to the side of the tracks.
The accident had taken place at 4:45 p.m., the Police added. The injured were admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital.
