Parliamentarians Tilak Marapana and DM Swaminathan have voluntarily expressed their willingness to opt out of obtaining a cabinet portfolio.
Meanwhile, MP Harsha de Silva on Tuesday said that MP Malik Samarawickrama had also agreed to not accepting a cabinet post.
In addition, MP Mano Ganesan had also taken to his Twitter handle and said that he along with MP Rishad Bathiudeen have also voluntarily decided to stay out of the cabinet.
The new cabinet is expected to be sworn in by 8:30 am at the Presidential Secretariat today (Dec 20)
