Five persons held with turtle meat
Five persons were arrested yesterday with a stock of turtle meat and eggs in Pallikuda area, Navy said. During the arrest, six kg of turtle meat and 2.5 kg of turtle eggs were taken into custody.
The apprehended suspects along with the stock of turtle meat and eggs were handed over to the Pooneryn Police for onward legal action.
