Statements have been obtained from five persons after a foreign substance was found in a drink bottle which was served to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today (Apr 05).
The drink bottle containing a black substance had been served to the Prime Minister at the Parliament.
While providing the statements, the five individuals had said that the bottle was sealed when it was offered to the Prime Minister.
Accordingly, measures have been taken to send the black substance to the Government Analysts Department for further investigations.
