At least five persons who were tested positive for coronavirus and cured after full recovery showed mild symptoms for the virus according to recent PCR tests carried out, Director of Jaffna Teaching Hospital T. Sathiyamoorthi said.
Those five persons were among the 17 individuals who were identified through the contact tracing process after a Switzerland based Pastor tested positive for COVID-19 soon after he conducted prayers in a Missionary Church in March. Others were sent home after undergoing a two week long quarantine process.
The five persons with mild symptoms for COVId-19 are instructed to undergo self quarantine in their respective homes. (N.Parameswaran)
