Fmr CBSL Dep. Governor, three Perpetual Treasuries Directors' arrested over Bond Scam
Former Central Bank Deputy Governor Paththinige Samarasiri and three Directors of Perpetual Treasuries Ltd. were arrested in connection with the Bond Scam case this morning.
The arrest was carried out by officials attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at the residences of the suspects.
The Directors of Perpetual Treasuries Ltd. who were among the suspects are Pushamithra Gunawardena, Chitra Ranjan Hulugalle, and Muthuraja Surendran.
The CID is conducting further investigations in this regard.
