Former ASP of Embilipitiya remanded
Former Embilipitiya, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) D. W. C. Dharmaratna was remanded until February 17, today by the Embilipitiya Additional Magistrate. He was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) yesterday in connection with the death of a youth in Embilipitiya following a clash between police.
