Former DIG Nalaka de Silva, and an Indian National who was arrested by the CID in connection for an alleged assassination plot targeting the President and former Defence Secretary, has been further remanded until December 05.
The order was issued by the Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake when the case was taken up for hearing
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
