Former Director of Military Intelligence, Major General (Retired) Amal Karunasekara was today further remanded in custody until June 26 by the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court. The suspect has been arrested in connection with the abduction and assault of journalist Keith Noyahr in 2008.
