Forty-nine more persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 today, the Government Information Department said.
Of them, 36 were associates connected to the Minuwangoda cluster while 13 were employees of the Brandix factory or their immediate associates.
Accordingly the number of persons infected with COVID-19 following the outbreak at the Brandix factory on October 3 has now gone upto 1770.
