Four persons have been arrested with 290 electric detonators at a residence in Hadigama, Piliyandala today (Jul 15), police said.
The arrest had been made during a raid carried out by the Piliyandala Police and the Army.
According to the Police Headquarters, the individual who had bought the detonators had been arrested along with the owner of the house and his two sons.
Piliyandala Police are conducting further investigations.
