Four hospitalized after fire erupts in a building in Kandy
Four individuals have been hospitalised owing to shock after a fire broke out inside a building in Yatinuwara, Kandy earlier today (Jan 08).
The four victims who were stuck inside the building during the fire were rescued and rushed to the hospital in order to receive treatment.
The fire had spread to the third and fourth floor of the building, police said.
However, the acting Inspector of the Kandy Police said that the fire has been contained.
