Four inmates escape Kuliyapitiya prison
Four inmates have escaped the Kuliyapitiya prison after opening up a small section of the prison roof, Kuliyapitiya police said.
The four escapees were imprisoned over narcotic charges with ongoing cases at the Kuliyapitiya Magistrate Court.
Police teams have been deployed to arrest the suspects with several road blocks put up in the surrounding areas.
