The four-member Committee appointed by Speaker Karu Jayasuriya to look into the controversy surrounding the vote in Parliament on a supplementary estimate of Rs 55 million will begin investigations tomorrow.
The four-member committee includes Opposition Leader R. Sampanthan, Justice Minister Dr. Wijayadasa Rajapakshe, UPFA MP Chamal Rajapaksa, who is a former Speaker and City Planning and Water Supply Minister Rauf Hakeem, who is a former Justice Minister. Rajapaksa told local media y that the Committee is scheduled to meet for the first time tomorrow at the Parliamentary Complex.
