Four sluice gates of the Rajanganaya Reservoir have been opened due to heavy rains experienced in the area recently.
Accordingly, two sluice gates have been opened up to 4ft while the others have been opened up to 2ft, irrigation engineers said.
They noted that water is being released from the reservoir at 3,628 cubic feet per second.
