President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has reappointed Gamini Senarath as the Secretary to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, the President's Media Division (PMD) stated. He received his appointment letter from President Gotabaya Rajapaksa this morning.
Mr Senarath is a former senior civil servant who joined the Sri Lanka Administrative Service in 1984.
He served as an Additional Secretary and later Chief of Staff of President Mahinda Rajapaksa when the latter was President.
Mr Senarath holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Kelaniya University and a Master's Degree in IT from the Colombo University.
