Garbage crisis: Another protest in Dadagamuwa

A group of area residents staged a protest at Kalagedihena Junction against dumping garbage in Dadagamuwa. The protest initially blocked the Kandy-Colombo main road.

They alleged that garbage collected elsewhere, even from Colombo, were being dumped there.

However, protestors dispersed after authorities assured them that garbage from outside was not being dumped there.
