GMOA holds anti-SAITM demonstration

News

The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) held a protest rally this afternoon at the Vihara Maha Devi Open Air Theater against the privately run South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM) in Malabe. The procession commenced from the National Hospital and made its way to Vihara Maha Devi Park.

The rally was preceded by a token strike carried out by the GMOA in the Western Province today.

Several politicians were also seen in attendence at the rally.
