GMOA led anti-SAITM strike tomorrow

Several trade unions will launch a 24-hour island-wide token strike from 8.00am tomorrow (21) in protest against the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM), the Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) said today.

The GMOA led strike will be joined by several other trade unions in the health sector as well as by unions from other sectors, including education.
