Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) leader Mahinda Rajapaksa and opposition presidential candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa engaged in religious observances at the Ruwanwelisaya temple in Anuradhapura yesterday (Aug 12).
Several members of the SLPP had also joined the religious proceedings at the temple.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
