Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) presidential candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa invoked blessings at the Sri Dalada Maligawa Temple in Kandy today (Aug 14).
Rajapaksa had payed respects to the Chief Prelates of the Asigiri and Malwathu Chapters during his visit to the temple this morning.
The opposition presidential candidate had been accompanied by SLPP leader Mahinda Rajapaksa, party leaders of the Joint Opposition, and former Provincial Council members.
