Former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa took wing to Singapore today (Oct 10).
He left the country on Singapore Airlines flight SQ 468 and is due to return on October 12.
Rajapaksa, accused of misappropriating state funds worth Rs 33.9 million in the construction of the D.A. Rajapaksa Memorial museum case was permitted by the Special High Court to travel overseas between October 9 and 12.
He had previously faced a travel ban over the case.
