The petition seeking an interim order on a Special High Court verdict in the D. A. Rajapaksa memorial museum case was re-fixed for support on May 21, the Appeal Court announced today (May 17).
Deputy Solicitor General Milinda Gunathilaka was instructed to inform court, during the next hearing, on the Attorney General's stance as to whether the case will be heard at the Special High Court while the revision petition is being heard at the Appeal Court.
The revision petition had been filed by former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa challenging the Special High Court's verdict to dismiss his preliminary objections in the misappropriation case concerning the D.A. Rajapaksa memorial museum.
The case is being heard before a two-member judge bench comprising Justice Achala Wengappuli, and Justice Arjuna Obeysekera.
