Those who are obtaining medicines through government hospital clinics in Colombo and Gampaha districts will be able to receive their medicines through post.
Those who visit clinics regularly are requested to call and provide their name, address, clinic number and telephone number. Patients can even provide the details to the Grama Sevaka of the area to be sent to the hospital. Hospital staff will send the medicine requirement through the area postman even during curfew.
This is a joint programme by the Ministry of Health and the Department of Posts.
