Director General of Health Services Dr Anil Jasinghe stated that three more people have tested positive for the Coronavirus.
The patients are a 41-year-old male who returned from Germany who is currently at IDH, a 37-year-old male who had returned from Italy and was quarantined at Kandakadu quarantine facility and a 43-year-old male who also returned from Italy and was at Kandakadu quarantine facility.
Of the two men who were quarantined at the Kandakadu facility, the 37-year-old male is currently being treated at the Polonnaruwa Hospital while the 43-year-old male is at the IDH.
The latest three patients means that five confirmed Coronavirus cases have been reported from the country since Wednesday (11).
