Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today said that despite differences of opinion regarding the 20th Amendment among parties, eventually they will arrive at a united decision as the government.
Prime Minster Rajapaksa meeting with heads of media institutions said that there will be no issues in getting the 20th Amendment passed in parliament.
Responding to a question about the SLFP forming its own committee to study the 20th Amendment, he said that most parties on their own were studying the proposals.
He said that he was also confident that a two thirds majority can be obtained for the proposed amendment.
