Govt. to establish an internal air service
The Government is looking to establish an internal airline service with public-private partnership. Accordingly, Cabinet yesterday approved a proposal to call for proposals from eligible private investors to select a suitable investor for commencing such an airline service with the Sri Lanka Air Force.
The proposal was submitted by President Maithripala Sirisena in his capacity as the Minister of Defence.
