Cabinet has approved a proposal to present a supplementary estimate for the payment of Rs 130 billion in arrears from the previous Government.
Co-Cabinet Spokesman Bandula Gunawardena told journalists at a media briefing this morning that the Government will have to present a supplementary estimate to Parliament as it needed to pay arrears left over from the previous Government to contractors and suppliers.
