Grade 5 scholarship exam: Top performers revealed
The results of the 2016 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination were released last night. According to the Department of Examinations, Sithija Niran Samarawickrama of Urugamuwa Methodist School in Matara has emerged first in the island by obtaining 196 marks at the exam.
Ruwanya Methmini Gunasekara of Assedduma Subharathi Vidyalaya in Kuliyapitiya and Kokulathasan Abhisigan of Rambekulam Government School in Vavuniya have been placed joint second in the island with 195 marks.
Nine students have obtained 194 marks and come joint third in the island.
