The Grama Sevakas have been directed to work for more hours inorder to serve the public.
Accordingly the Grama Sevakas have been told to remain in their offices from 8.30 a.m. to 4.15 on Tuesday and Thursday while on Saturday they will be required to stay in office until 12.30 pm.
Since Monday has been declared as a public day they have been told to reserve the day to turn up at the Divisional Secretariat for official duties.
From the rest of the three days in the week they can take one day off and the remaining two days can be used for field visits.
The new timings will be effective from October 1.
