Habaraduwa Police have commenced investigations into the mysterious death of a foreign tourist at a tourist hotel in Unawatuna today.
The body of the woman which was found today has been identified as a 53-year old Swedish national.
The woman had arrived along with her husband on March 29 and was residing at the tourist hotel in Unawatuna since then, police said.
Following the husband's report of his wife's death Police officers began investigations and observed blood stains in the room along with some broken bottles.
