In a bid to upgrade the Hambantota sea port, Hambantota International Port Group Ltd. has made investments to the amount of over US$ 600,000.
Accordingly, the investments would see the port being upgraded with gooseneck trailers, Terberg Tractors, and break-bulk lifting gear.
It is reported that four low-bed trailers have also been purchased at the beginning of this month.
