Heavy rain in most areas today

Showers or thundershowers will occur over most provinces of the island today, the Department of Meteorology stated. The Department added this would occur as prevailing showery conditions are likely to enhance over the island.

Heavy showers (more than 100mm) are likely at some places.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. The Department requested the general public to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
