Heavy traffic is being reported in Colombo and along the roads from Thummulla to Colombo due to a vehicle parade by members of the GMOA and several anti-SAITM groups.
According to reports the vehicle parade heading towards Colombo from five districts will pass Pittala Junction, Maradana, Kelaniya and Kirulapone. Further it was reported that the vehicle parade would reach the Lipton Circus this evening.
The funeral of arguably the Queen of the Sinhala cinema Malini Fonseka, will be held with state honours on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the Independence Square.
The NPP government has been at the wheel for almost 6 months now. The time to keep looking at the rear view mirror and living in the past is about over.
