Hemasiri Fernando resigns as Defence Secretary
Hemasiri Fernando has resigned from the post of Defence Secretary a short while ago, a senior presidential secretariat source said.
Mr. Fernando came in for severe criticism following the remarks made regarding Easter Sunday attacks.
