The Outer Circular Highway from Kaduwela to Kadawatha which was declared opened yesterday by the Minister of University Education and Highways Lakshman Kiriella with the participation of the Japanese Ambassador Kenichi Suganuma.
The Ministry of Highways has published the fares charged for light vehicles travelling on the highway as follows

Athurugiriya & Kottawa – Rs150.00
Kahathuduwa – Rs200.00
Gelanigama – Rs250.00
Dodangoda – Rs300.00
Welipenna – Rs350.00
Kurunduhethekma – Rs400.00
Baddegama – Rs450.00
Pinnaduwa(Galle) – Rs500.00
Imaduwa – Rs550.00
Kokmaduwa – Rs600.00
Godagama(Matara) – Rs650.00
Kadawatha –Matara
Minimum fare of heavy vehicles(to Kadwela) :Rs200.00
Maximum fare(to Pinnaduwa):1750.00
