Hizbullah questioned by FCID on funding of Batticaloa Campus
Former Governor and Founder of Batticaloa Campus Ltd M L A M Hizbullah was questioned by the police yesterday (Jul 4) regarding the funding received for the Campus.
Mr Hizbullah was questioned by the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) for over five hours in this regard.
Statements had been recorded regarding the funding of more than Rs 3 billion which had been received from a donor in Saudi Arabia for the construction of the private educational institution.
A complaint had been filed over this matter at the Police Headquarters, police said.
