British Parliamentarian Hugo Swire yesterday (Oct 30) raised a question in Parliament about the ongoing political situation in Sri Lanka.
He questioned Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt about the ongoing political situation in Sri Lanka.
“The international community is continuing to press for the urgent recall of Parliament to ensure due process regarding the removal of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe,” Swire said.
Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt said that he will be raising his concerns on Sri Lanka with President Maithripala Sirisena.
