Residents from various parts of the country celebrated the victory of presidential candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa following last week's election.
Rajapaksa was sworn into office today (Nov 18), after clinching 52.2 percent of the votes, becoming Sri Lanka's seventh Executive President.
