A fire erupted at a multi-storey building situated at Vipulasena Mawatha in Maradana this evening.
Eight fire trucks were dispatched to douse the fire.
The fire has now been doused.

Ajith Gallage, the owner of a Bird Park in Nagarawawa, Hambantota, has been remanded over allegations of concealing illegally imported motorcycles, in a warehouse owned by him.
