The remains of late Minister Arumugam Thondaman were brought to Parliament this morning where they Lay-in-State at the Assembly Hall of Parliament.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, former Speaker of the 8th Parliament Karu Jayasuriya and other former MPs as well as foreign diplomats paid their respects to the late minister while the remains were Lying-in-State.
Mr Thondaman's funeral will be held on Sunday (31).
