A protest was organised by the Joint Unemployed Graduates Association in Colombo today (Aug 13).
The protest march had begun from the Colombo Fort Railway Station and had headed towards the Presidential Secretariat before moving towards the Economic Affairs Ministry.
Attempts made by the protestors to meet officials at the President's Secretariat officials had proved futile. More than 250 unemployed graduates took part in the protest.
