Muslims across Sri Lanka celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr festival marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan yesterday (24).
In keeping with health and social distancing guidelines in effect due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Muslims celebrated the festival in their homes.
Mosques throughout the country were empty of devotees yesterday and only the trustees of the mosques were present to conduct prayers for the festival.
