With curfew being lifted in the Colombo and Gampaha districts after more than two months today (26), a large number of vehicles were seen on the entry points to Colombo City this morning as more people arrived in the city for work and other matters.
In keeping with health sector guidelines, most motorists on the road were wearing face masks.
The arrival of thousands of vehicles on the roads to Colombo brought back the usual traffic that has not been seen on the city's street's since March.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) warned that water supply restrictions would be imposed from 8.00pm today in Colombo District from today onwards
