An Indian engineer has died after falling off the Loggal Oya Biomass power plant building, police said.
The victim has been identified as 55-year old V. Ramaiyyah Reddappah, a resident of Bangalore.
It is believed that the engineer had fallen while fixing a turbine at the plant which is about 20 feet in height.
He had died while receiving treatment at the Mahiyangana hospital.
The victim's remains are to be handed over to his relatives following a post-mortem examination.
