An Indian national has been nabbed while attempting to smuggle out Rs 5 million worth of 'Ice' narcotic at the Bandaranaike International Airport today (Jun 27).
The suspect, a resident of Tamil Nadu, had been constantly engaging in business activities with flight passengers, Customs Spokesman Lal Weerakoon said.
The narcotic weighing more than 500 grams had been concealed between a few sarees in the travelling bag of the suspect, the Spokesman noted.
