Indian singer Chinmayi Sripaada accused Sri Lankan cricketer Lasith Malinga of allegedly assaulting a woman at a Mumbai hotel during an Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
Commenting on an accusation brought out by an Indian woman who complained about the incident via the #MeToo movement, Ms. Sripaada, on her twitter account had named Malinga as the individual involved.
However, Sripaada didn't mention her friend's name, who too, did not name any cricketer in her post.
