Indian Defence delegation, led by Indian Defence Secretary Shri G. Mohan Kumar participated at the 4th Indo-Sri Lanka Defence Dialogue at the invitation of his Sri Lankan counterpart Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi in Colombo yesterday, defence ministry said.
Since its inception in 2012, the Annual Indo - Sri Lanka Defence Dialogue reviews the entire scope of Defence Cooperation between both countries while expanding its areas of interests.
During the meeting, both parties lengthily discussed defence matters of mutual interest and bilateral importance.
High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Y K Sinha, Sri Lankan Chief of Defence Staff, Army and Navy commanders, senior officials of both defence ministries and military representatives of both parties participated for the annual meeting.
